For the laudation and prize award ceremony, we have succeeded in getting the Milan architect and designer Matteo Thun, who as the one-time co-founder of the Memphis Group personifies a lasting refreshment of thought through the radical break with seemingly insurmountable paradigms.
The works that receive awards will be presented in a separate exhibition at the Marta Herford as well as on the virtual platform on the contest home page and in the technical press.
The wemhöner award 2004 carries a monetary prize totaling 25,000 euros.
The jury will decide upon the actual division of the prize. Beyond the placements, the jury can also recognize an indeterminate number of participants, who can also be awarded a monetary prize.
The prize money will not be paid in cash.
